Here are a few ways you can volunteer and help Plants & Animals Denver spread the word about veganism and help animals and people!

Leafleting/Tabling Outreach
Leafleting/Tabling is a great way to get your message out. P&A plans outreach missions on a regular basis about a variety of issues from educating people about veganism to different campaigns. Volunteer for Chomp!
Chomp! is Plants & Animals Denver‘s monthly community vegan dinner, held the first Wednesday of everyone month. Chomp! is a positive, exciting, and effective way to show people what veganism is about. We are always in need of great vegan chefs who are ready and willing to make food for a lot of people! If you’re interested in cooking for Chomp! come to a cooks’ meeting (one week after the event).  If you want to cook or just attend a meeting to see what it’s all about, email Melanie or Kayla for more information and guidelines.
Even if you can’t cook, we always need lots of volunteers to be able to pull off a huge event like this, including set-up, tear-down, and helping serve food.  Email us if you’d like to volunteer.

Open Meetings:
Plants & Animals Denver has open meetings the third Wednesday of every month (two weeks after Chomp!). The meetings are open to whoever is interested in coming. These meetings are a chance for us to update you on what P&A is working on and to brainstorm new ideas. To find out when and where the meetings take place visit our events page or email Josh.

Everything Else: 
We are  still a small organization with a lot of potential and room to grow. If you are interested in making a difference, P&A is your chance to do it. You determine your own level of involvement. We want to be the group that supports your ideas and passion. Whether you have skills to offer, time to help, or just a willingness to lend a hand, we appreciate adding new volunteers to our ranks. There is so much we can do. But we need your voice, brain, and hands to make it a reality. Come join us! Email us if you want to get involved.
