Rub a dub-dub, Vegan soap in your tub!
Hey there sassy vegan! I see you, with your kale chips and kombucha. Veganism is suiting you, that’s for sure. But how’s your soap doing? Is it as cruelty-free as you are? Here’s a quick and dirty guide to getting down with some vegan soap:
- Shop cruelty free brands! Check out Lush, Dr. Bronner’s, Kiss My Face and the Whole Foods House line. Keep an eye out, as some of these brands do occasionally include non-vegan products, such as honey or beeswax, but they don’t test on animals, making your search a bit easier. Low on funds? White Rain and Method are vegan!
- Keep an eye out for non-vegan additives, such as lanolin and beeswax. Not sure if your soap is vegan? Google to the rescue!
- The easiest thing for Denver-area folks to do is to hit up Nooch Vegan Market, at 34th and Larimer in Denver, to scoop up their soap. No label reading, no worries!
Keep your skin as cruelty free as your body and go vegan with your soap! Got questions? Ask them in the comments or shoot them to us at info@plantsanimals.com.
